The Bay Of Islands Yacht Club has a fleet of club boats available to hire. We have Open Skiffs, Optis, Starlings, Lasers, Fevas, 29ers, Sunbursts and a whole fleet of chase boats are available too.

Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Using Club Chase Boats and Dinghies:

 

1. Call or txt the Boats Manager - Thomas Fewtrell 028 411 8171 to check that the boat is available. Chris will confirm that the boat is: 

1. operation and safe to be used  - no current maintenance issues that need to be considered.

2. Available for use at the time requested.

3. The use of the Club boat  is appropriate in the weather conditions and meets Club criteria of hireage

2. Pay for usage via the cash system in Club or the online payment system via the button below.

 

3. For chase boats complete boat log after use, clean (including the engine)  and return to the shed.
